Commemorations World War I
2014 will be a special year for Dinant, marked by the commemorations of the First World War. Dinant suffered a lot of the fight: 674 citizens were killed by the german armies and 80% of the buildings were destructed.
With the help of the so called "2014 Committe", the authorities of Dinant decided to commemorate the victims of the First World War throughout the year.
