As if to accompany the Meuse in her summer nonchalance, the Saxaphone Sundays are as many invitations to come and escort, during the two hottest months of the year, the different formations structured around the emblematic instrument of Alphonse Sax. This edition will not spoil the tradition.
Free concerts are in fact organised every Sunday during July and August for the pleasure of the tourists and Coperes. Often in the style of New Orleans but also free jazz and swing, these orchestras are the opportunity to (re) discover the town swinging to the raucous sound of brass.
Regional formations, but also English and Dutch, will play from 15h 30 – 17h30 in the heart of the City, but particularly on the boulevards and around the terraces. Two hours of street parade that will give you a better change of scenery than a holiday brochure. An invitation to come and nibble some notes of music in Dinant. It’s revitalizing and fun.
